This time of year is usually a very joyous time, however for many people it can also be a very trying time. This year is no exception, if anything, it's worse due to changes in financial situations, changes within families and all the new stresses that have come our way this year. There are people who feel there is no way out and no end in sight. I want you all to look around and reach out to each other for help. One of the hardest things for me to do is ask for help, li...ke so many others. You believe you shouldn't burden other people with your problems, or you don't want others to know how "weak" you are or maybe you just feel that you have no reason to feel the way you do so you keep to yourself and put on a happy face for all to see. Let go of whatever facade you're holding onto. You are not alone. Stop looking around at how happy others are and how good they have it, they have their own struggles too. They may have that perfect picture showing everyone they are on top of the world, but don't be fooled, everyone has struggles. . If you are struggling, ask for help. Reach out to a friend, a therapist, a family member or someone. I'm not a therapist, I have no training in mental health issues but you can always call me. If you find yourself staring out the window and your mind racing, you are NOT alone. Talk to someone. Get help.
