Dear Jeong's Taekwondo Families, We are happy to finally announce some good news during this very tough time. Fraser Health Chief Officer, Dr. Martin Lavoie, announced that bans on all gyms and indoor facilities are to be lifted on May 19th, 2020. Gyms and facilities are only able to open if they develop a plan that follows WorkSafe BC guidelines. The BC Taekwondo Federation has contacted WorkSafe BC and has come up with basic guidelines that all Taekwondo academies in the ...area must follow. As there have been some big announcements recently made regarding the reopening of our economy, we are implementing safety procedures and working on a plan for a safe re-opening. There will be minor alterations made to the schedule for there to be smaller classes, as well as a combination of online classes in case that there are students and parents that are not yet comfortable to return to regular classes. Once specific guidelines are available for us to use and follow, we will then proceed to make a set plan and schedule, then we will send them out for everyone to view. We will follow up next week with more details. Online classes in May will still be running, however, our official re-opening date is to be determined. COVID-19 UPDATE: Dear Jeong's Taekwondo Members, We know there is a lot of uncertainty with the recent COVID-19 development, and since the health and safety of our students and parents is our utmost priority, Jeong's Taekwondo Academy has decided to temporarily close for 2 weeks, effective Tuesday, March 17, and reopen on Monday, March 30th.... For the classes missed during this time, all students are welcome to do make-up classes or will be given as future credit. All deposits will be put ON HOLD until it is safe to return. We will continue to keep everyone posted as things may develop. Thank you for your patience and understanding, as we believe this is the best option right now.
