Jeri's Quilts 05.10.2020

Hey y’all! So I realized that I don’t think I’ve ever officially introduced myself for my quilting page (or it’s been a really long time since I have) and I don’t take a whole ton of selfies, but this is my most recent, so here ya be! . . My name is Jeri (as my page so aptly tells, ha!) and I’ve been quilting now for about 17 years now. My mom taught me how to quilt when I was fairly young after seeing her work on a few quilting projects. I loved watching and seeing the fin...ished product, that I asked if she could teach me. My mom bought me fabrics for my first couple quilts, which led me to where I am today. I worked in an amazing fabric shop for about 8 years that just furthered my love of quilting and those I worked with and helped in the shop over those years. Not only do I love working on my own projects, but I’ve consistently taken on some great commissioned jobs as well! . . Fun facts! I love bright colours, but my absolute fave is yellow! Kaffe Fassett and Tula Pink are some of my fave fabric designers, and the best part?! Many of the collections blend well together! I developed a greater love of neutral colours when I worked at the Quilt Patch! I worked with some pretty great gals who swayed me in some different fabric choices than I may have worked with previously. I may or may not have also been a culprit in putting fabrics together that my coworkers loved.. Never ask me to choose between one set of fabric or another.. I’m just going to tell you to go with both! . . I also realize that I have been lacking a bit in posting my projects as I go lately, so I will do my best to be more consistent in keeping my page up to date! Thanks to all o’ y’all who follow my page; sending much love your way!! See more
