The holiday season is upon us!! If you are hosting dinner or contributing to a potluck, you may want to check ahead of time that all of your major appliances are in good working order!! Nothing worse than starting a roast or preparing to bake a cake to find out your oven isn’t working properly, or at all!! We would like to do our best to help you in a timely manner at this time of year. Getting ahead of any possible issues can help us ensure we are able to get to all of our customers. Temperatures are dropping quickly now! If you have a beer safe AKA fridge in your garage, you may want to move anything that you have stored in the freezer portion of it into a freezer that is inside the house. Not all, but many refrigerators have their thermostat mounted in the fridge portion. If the fridge is in the garage and temperatures drop below zero, the fridge will not need to run often, if at all. This means that the freezer, and anything inside of it, will begin to thaw.

The rain is supposed to be pretty bad today, folks. Remember to unplug your fridge if your power begins to flicker. Leave it unplugged for about 15 minutes once you power has been restored to avoid the possibility of burning out any major components. Stay safe and dry!

It’s looking pretty icy out there today! Fridge tip: if you start to notice your power flickering on and off, it’s a good idea to unplug your fridge until all is back to normal. JUST REMEMBER TO PLUG IT BACK IN once the flickering stops(maybe give it about 10 minutes before doing so). This can prevent the potential of blowing an electronic board or burning out the compressor. Stay warm and safe everyone!
