This is a panoramic shot of the Pitt River off the Port Coquitlam side. I sure can't wait until the green comes on the trees. I can see it coming already!
A shot from back in February. This is a blueberry farm at the foot of the mountain. I'm pretty sure this is Burke Mountain but please don't quote me on that!
Okay, okay, this will be my last cherry blossom photo this year, maybe. I might have some to share on a later date.
More cherry blossoms from the Arbutus area of Vancouver. This couple was walking their dog. One of only a few there who were NOT taking photos!
More cherry blossoms from the Arbutus area of Vancouver. So many streets are lined with these trees. It's too bad they only blossom for such a short time.
Like everyone else, I'm looking forward to traveling again when the world opens itself up. This is a window at Alcatraz looking at the Oakland Bay Bridge.
I think this is one of my favourite pictures I have taken. It was magical how the blue of the surroundings matched with the blue of this old Porsche. I also really like the sense of motion while this guy cruised the Malecon in Havana.
Throwback to an evening when I climbed down the dike in Port Coquitlam and shot this tree during blue hour.
These are some crazy flowers I came upon a while ago. If anyone happens to know the name of these, let me know. I really like them!
A little waterfall that I came across while on a visit to Tofino.
This is not my picture! My wife often comes with me when I am out shooting. As a side effect of this, she sees details in things that she never noticed before. So I bought her a camera for Christmas one year. Every once in a while she takes an absolute stunner. She's actually pretty good but just can't be bothered to learn how to use her camera!!
Here's something a little fun for today! The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards 2020. https://www.comedywildlifephoto.com//comedy-widlife-2020-c
A shot from early September when we went whale watching and came across these funny little critters floating around. Sea otters are pretty funny to watch.
I stumbled upon this dahlia on one of my after work neighbourhood walks. I was surprised it had bloomed since it was late October. I didn't realize they hang out that late in the fall!!
I dislike mushrooms. I don't like how they taste. I don't like how they smell when they cook. But I do love where they grow and how they can look. They are a pleasure to photograph.
I have this photo printed and framed, and up on my wall where I get to look at it every day. It's the path to Church Ope Cove in Portland, UK. It's a pretty place and is where my wife grew up.
