I'm 15 days shy of these photos being taken exactly two years apart. 2 years almost to the day since I did my first ever session. Year one was a whole lot of figuring out if this was for me. Year two was a whole lot of grinding away trying to prove to all of you that this was for me. I can't wait to show you all what year three has in store...

When your clients and followers see your professional portraits, they should instantly feel a sense of connection and the desire to support you will just come naturally. I strive to bring life and energy to professional portrait sessions. And while I won’t always ask you to run through the splash pad, I certainly will never turn down the opportunity to catch a fun moment like that. Professional portrait sessions are $100 at a location of your choice. Small travel fee applies to locations farther than 25km from Aylesford. Discount rates also available if there are more than one person wanting portraits done. If you know of someone in need of updating their professional photos, I’d love to hear from you!

Late Friday nights in January are for long overdue bookkeeping and website updating. 2021 prices remain the same as they have been because you all deserve to continue to be able to have access to affordable, memory making photo sessions. New to 2021 however...and something I'm going to struggle implementing...is a minimum 25% non refundable (but fully transferable) deposit with each booking. Trust me when I say that this is something that I'm not looking forward to implemen...ting, but is necessary. Flexibility will always be my number one goal, and I know all too well how easy it is for schedules to change. So I will always be open and flexible when it comes to booking dates and needing to reschedule once the deposit has been made. When you walk away from a fun backyard session convinced (almost) to join a bowling league, you know it's been a great session! Such a wonderful time catching up with Steven & Dawna, and meeting their awesome daughter Dakota. Just look at that spell she put on the leaf. Making Hermione Granger and Harry Potter proud!

Like so many things, Grad sessions have evolved so much over the years. I only wish I could turn back the clock and have a re-do of that stuffy Sears portrait studio session with the generic backdrops and 1990's haircuts. Thankfully we've shifted away from that, although I still cringe every time I walk by my grad photos...and we've moved on to sessions like tonight. Where a beautiful grad got to share this important milestone with her mom and the animals she absolutely ador...es. And I just had to throw in that fun little cap throw attempt... Congratulations Lindsay! Good luck in your final year and with whatever life has in store for you. I know you're going to rock it! Lindsay Armstrong

From straight out of the camera to the finished product...the editing process is by far the most time consuming part of the whole photo taking process, but my goodness it's worth it! For those of you still waiting on galleries...and trust me, I know exactly how many of you there are...please just hang on a bit longer. I'm working super hard to get those galleries finished up and sent off and can't thank you enough for your patience. It's been an absolutely incredible few weeks, and some days I truly don't know how I ever got so lucky. But I'm going to keep counting my blessings and keep the camera batteries charged and ready to make as many memories as possible with the best clients in the world

I really don't know if it gets much better than late fall days in the front yard of some pretty amazing clients. I'm one lucky girl!

Oh hey there Acker family! Just letting you know you're up next

Just taking a quick second to stop, breathe, and reflect on how beautiful the weather this fall was, and how truly amazing the last few weeks have been. And by the looks of my calendar there's much more where that came from. For lack of better words, I'm so stinking thankful everyone. Today, tomorrow, and for the rest of my days.

It's a great night to let these two best friends know their fun session is super close to being done, and will be sent off tonight!

I have just four words for you on this chilly, windy, fall day... I love grad sessions. Such a great time this afternoon with Thomas who will be graduating this school year, and Sophia who graduated last school year, but unfortunately (thanks to Covid) didn't get the grad photos she so deserved. Their mom was pretty amazing too! ... Such an awesome family. Can't wait to see you all again! Congratulations Thomas & Sophia! Kelly Clarke
