It's surreal seeing a car ad on facebook and realizing it's one you actually worked on. I lit this sucker and my super talented gang of film friends did all the hard work. Rad.

Happy weekend gang, only 2 days left for this round of #storyhive. Vote every day! So, you tend gravitate to people you admire and if you're lucky like me, you ...get to make films with them. Please vote for our projects so our web series pilots can be made. The first is Magic Craft by my wonderful girlfriend Angela Seehagen. I've been working with Ang on projects for a few years now and when she's in the captains seat, the destination is always a very pleasant surprise. She's a true creative who seems to start with one great idea and continually builds from it throughout the entire film making process. I love the wacky mutations that end up on screen. With a storyhive win, her list of new ideas, and our team of creatives, it'll be impossible to imagine what this'll look like but, it will definitely be amazing. I've worked with Ryan on a bazillion projects including sketches, short films, web series, music videos and even our old podcast. Basically, over our years of friendship we've developed an amazing groove. Ryan is a comfortable pair of jeans I put on every now then and wonder why I don't wear them more often... I apologize for any confusing metaphors, I've been sick with a cold/flu for 6 days and the cough syrup is in full effect. Working with Ryan, I've learned to leave my ego in the car, and provide good environments for actors to act (lighting for quick setups, more improv, etc). I think this will be a dramatic story with a lot of natural comedy. Without expanding on it too much, we've wanted to do something like this for a while, and I feel like we've got years of great practice preparing us for this type of show.
