JGC would like to welcome it’s newest member! Izad Etemadi is an Iranian-Canadian actor, writer, and producer originally from Victoria, BC. He is a graduate of the Canadian College of Performing Arts and the proud recipient of the 2017 Emerging Queer Artist Award from Buddies In Bad Times Theatre. He has created several solo shows that have toured across North America and is currently developing a comedy special in residency with Green Light Arts. His most recent project is an Instagram comedy series called Cyrus and Chels (@cyrusandchels). Izad has spent the last several years working in commercial casting and is thrilled to be part of the JGC team. @izadetemadi And a note to all the Casting Directors out there, Izad is still fully available to audition. He is fantastic and you would be lucky to have him in your project.

After more than a year - full of laughs, emails and way too many coffees to mention, I’d like to give a heartfelt goodbye to the one and only, Rebecca Ostroff. She took a leap of faith joining the JGC team as my assistant when I was still figuring out just what the heck I was doing. She got me through that first year and I will be forever grateful for everything she has done. She is moving on to bigger and better things and I wish nothing but the best for her.
