It’s going to be 12 degrees or warmer today and I could not be more excited to get out and play in the sunshine with Ginger But first coffee and some work and laundry #balancedlife I think this picture would make a good album cover... What would the album be called? What genre of music? TELL ME... I think country or maybe rap or like a hybrid of those two (a la Lil Nas X) and titled All Green Everything

I’ve been working away the past two months overhauling my personal branding and website - and I’m so excited to start to share more of my business offerings through the brand new Jesse Rodgers Wellness (www.jesserodgerswellness.com). I changed just about everything from my original website/branding and while it’s going to continue be a work in progress - I’m happy with how it turned out. It was a bit unclear before what I actually offered - too many service options. I simpli...fied what services I am offering down to virtual health coaching for stress management, with two options - either PRIVATE coaching one on one with me, or GROUP coaching twice monthly in an intimate, online setting. Private coaching begins with either a free discovery call OR an in-depth initial session via Zoom. From there you decide how often you would like to renew your coaching - monthly, every three months or every six months. I made some graphics for my story that I am going to highlight on my main profile to break down the details of each offer. I have a linktree in my bio with the direct link or you can find the full details and contact me to get started atwww.jesserodgerswellness.com #personalbranding #diywebsite #squarespace #onlinebusiness #workinprogress #selfmade #bossbabe#healthcoach #healthcoaching #healthandwellnesscoach #vegancoach #veganhealthcoach #stressmanagementcoach #empowermentcoach #healthcoachlife #onlinehealthcoach #onlinehealthcoaching #wellnesscoach #holistichealth #wellnessadvocate#healthandwellness #wellnessblogger#healthandwellnessblogger

I’m not like a regular mom I’m a plant mom Since moving into a place with lots of natural light my plant family grew - I don’t know exactly how many I had when I moved (>10) but now I have 40+ different houseplant species.... I love taking care of my plants, the ritual of caring for them gives me a feeling of purpose and calm. Since expanding the plant fam I’ve learned so much about caring for my leafy babes. Here are some basic house plant care tips! Light - the more the better in my experience, I have one giant east facing and two medium/large south facing windows. Bright indirect light is what most plants call for and they are happy near by the windows - just not too close in the winter because of drafts (also pay attention to heat sources as that can also shock plants). Some plants benefit from being rotated every once in a while to keep them from getting lopsided. Water - you gotta finger your plant's soil! It's the best way to determine if you need to water your plant, especially in the winter when they aren’t using as much, by feeling the soil about an inch or so down. I check my plants for watering needs about twice a week and ones that feel dry get watered throughly. I give my plants a natural algae based fertilizer every two weeks or so from March to September to give them a growth boost. Dust - houseplants get heck dusty over time so it’s important to clean 'em up once in a while. Every couple months I give my plants a wipe with a damp cloth or a light shower in the sink or bath tub to remove build up of dust or pests etc. Do this when your plants need to be watered anyways because you can easily do both at the same time. Pests - this was a real struggle for me over the past few months - a couple of my bigger plants were getting their asses handed to them by first spider mites and then thrips. FUCK. After trying a couple ineffective DIY options I found a safe and easy to use product called Safer’s End All (I got it from Canadian Tire) that has totally remedied all pest issues - now my babies are recovering well. Do you have any other questions about taking care of your houseplants? Whats your favourite plant?

Low quality pics High quality vibes I did my hair with no heat using a bathrobe tie - like what?!... Should I make a tutorial of how I did it on my page? Or a full hair routine video? Also yesterday I tried on every article of clothing I own last night and I have a stack of clothes to sell ... I went full Marie Kondo on my closet because lately I’ve been feeling like me and the contents of my closet don’t spark the joy It helps me lower stress when I have fewer decisions to make and less options when I have to make a choice. Minimalism, environmentalism and veganism have actually been great for my stress since for me less consumption means less stress. I have actively benefited mentally from having less material possessions. I always list things on the consignment app poshmark (I have my shop linked in my linktree in my bio) but if you are local to Winnipeg we can arrange contactless pickup/dropoff (just dm me)

new moon intention setting i don’t know about you all but i’ve had a hard time making any new years resolutions at all... i’m usually big on goal setting especially at the beginning of a new year but not this year, not 2021 the only goals I have are goals that i’ve had for a long time: start a profitable business get more professional certifications move to the countryside (so I can have another dog!) the new moon phase (today the 12th) is a natural time to reflect and focus on what you want to call in how do you want to live how to want to feel then determine what actions will get you closer to bringing that into reality smaller intentions for the rest of the month: finish updating my website get more sleep throw myself a birthday party for one what are your new moon intentions?
