A psychological research study on horseback riding exercise revealed that it decreased depression in teenagers with emotional disorders. In another study, 51 c...hildren with attention deficit disorder and severe emotional disturbances participated in horseback riding exercises for 18 months, and their behavioral deficits and depression improved. Additionally, horseback riding exercise was reported to influence behavioral and emotional changes in children with autism. The exercise has also been reported to be helpful for the relief of symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder when compared with other existing animal-assisted therapies. April 2021. (Pending Social Distancing regulations) Looking for an outdoor physical activity for yourself or kids? Horseback riding lessons are a great place to start !! In the Spring of 2021 I will be offering beginner to intermediate Western riding lessons from Monday to Saturday starting April 5th. For anyone ages 6 and up! Lessons are 1 hour long at a rate of 30$ an hour per person. Lessons are offered as a 1 on 1 bases or can be in a group of 2-3 people, i like to keep... my lesson groups small so everyone is progressing and learning their horsemanship skills correctly and safely, as well as getting the most out of their time with me :) My books are now open to start saving spots within the week or weekend for April, as i have students already waiting to start! Who I am!! My name is Jessica Greene, I am 19 years old. I have spent my whole life around horses and have a passion for training and teaching riding lessons! I have spent the last few years building my skills and creating goals for myself within the horse community. I spent my childhood watching and learning underneath and alongside my mother Tara Tyndale and my aunt Amber Smarz. In my horse world journey, I have spent countless hours learning from multiple different trai...ners and have taken lessons from a variety of different people as well as different disciplines, I like to think of myself as pretty well rounded. I have trained horses for a vast group of people, from creating kid friendly horses, to rehabilitating the crazy untouched horse, to even slow and steady trail horses. I have also spent countless hours training and riding western pleasure bred horses. I have competed in many different locals shows, and have also competed in the Manitoba 2-year-old futurity in 2016, as I trained and rode my own horse. Growing up on Tumbleweeds ranch has taught me nothing but work ethic, drive, responsibility, and respect for people and respect for our equine partners, I am so beyond grateful that I finally get to start my own small business and to reach my goal of working at the ranch full time.
