Spring is slowly crawling its way to us. The sun is letting us know it’s trying and the breeze is getting softer. Our bodies are also slowly waking up from the winter. And we’ll be softly making our way from our caves into more activities, especially as vaccine mandates roll-out. Remember that clothes are just fabrics that are made to fit you. You are not made to fit in the fabric. Recycle and repurpose where and when you can. Don’t be afraid to trade with friends. Don’t be... afraid to allow yourself a new pair of pants that fit you the way you want. Or, don’t be afraid to embrace the way your old clothes hug your new curves. You can always change when you’re done with that outfit for the day. We’ve just moved again. And spring cleaning is upon us as we unbox and unbag a lot of old clothing and fabrics. Some will be grate memories to repurpose and some will make it to the donation bin. Find ways to create little rituals this spring to honour your space and your body.

Last post of 2020. I’ve been ramping myself up to take self-portraits for weeks now. I finally sat down and said enough, if you’re vulnerable then show it. You don’t need make up. Don’t edit your skin. Just show up. That’s what I did. I showed up and I’ll be honest, looking at these has been hard but it’s been healing. My body isn’t a far cry from what it was 365 days ago, but so what if it was? My goal is to empower others, but it’s okay if I don’t feel at home in my own ...skin from time to time. That’s why we talk about these things. 2021 doesn’t need to be brand new. It’s another trip around the solar system, everyday is an opportunity to make the best of our situation. Treat each day with compassion and kindness. For yourself and for others. 2020 has shown us that we are all facing unimaginable battles. Xoxo love you
