A U T H E N T I C I T Y Lately, I've been struggling with who I really am. What makes me, me? I know what I like and what makes me happy so how come that doesn't make me feel authentically me? It feels as though there's just not enough - like something is missing. I love when I have the opportunity to align myself with those I look up to. It always feels like the refresh I need - a charge in me that spikes my adrenaline and g...ets my ideas flowing. I truly love to push myself, to face my fears and lately that's been lacking. Maybe it's because of Covid and that I can't really go all that many places or do anything... But I know I need more challenge and more fears conquered so I can continue to grow. What are some of the fears you've overcame? See more

LOOKING TO BUY? It's a tough market out there for buyers right now. If you have been involved in any way you likely know and have personally experienced how challenging it is to find a home right now. Inventory has been low since before January and week after week more homes are selling than there are coming on the market. It has been an extremely long time since #yyc has been in this type of housing frenzy. It's hard to adjust as an... agent let alone as a consumer, so here are some tips for you to get out there prepared: 1. Narrow down your areas and must haves - do not, I repeat do NOT look at homes that do not fit the bill - you are going to be exhausted after this process; let's save your energy for the offer instead of viewing homes that more than likely won't work for you. 2. Be as flexible as possible; with possession dates, condition dates, deposit amounts - NOW is the time to put your best foot forward. 3. Don't be afraid of multiple offers - If you were considering putting an offer and find out there are more coming here's what you need to know; - The area, price range and type of home you want is likely hot and it's likely every one you love is going to have more than one offer. - Whatever price this one goes for is going to be a part of the next comps for your next offer, so you might as well win this one rather than pay a higher price for the next. H A P P Y - E A S T E R Who would have ever thought we'd still be going through this pandemic for a second Easter - I know I sure didn't. It's pretty surreal to look back and reflect on last year's Easter up to now. Last year was truly terrifying. I had no idea if I'd be able to continue running my business or if Mike would continue to work. I was over run with stress; watching the news every hour, trying to homeschool and wonder if ...today would be my last day working. I'm an extrmely outgoing person and love to be around others. It killed me to have to stay home all day every day. My anxiety was at an all time high and I was truly missing everything social. I'm grateful to have a team who continued to remind me every single day how important mindset was. This made me realize and learn that I had no control over the situation and that what's meant to be will be. Because of Covid I had to close down my child care business which allowed me to focus on real estate Mike got laid off Which allowed him to be with the kids full time So I was able to help my brother at his restuarant which allowed me to make an income and see my closest family daily We could no longer comfortably afford our house Which forced us to move And that made my commute for work A MILLION times easier See more
