Reflection time This horse! Exhausting would best describe him part of the time but rewarding would be the best word in a round about way! ... Joe went through multiple homes for you who don’t know him, multiple states, multiple ways of training from clear abuse & the scars & fear to prove it, multiple disciplines & multiple kinds of care! But one thing Joe never left behind was his heart & kindness for all else around him. A month ago things weren’t great actually they were far from great! If I could choose one thing from training horses I’ve taken is admit sometimes their is large failure you have highest of highs & incredibly humble lows! But I chose to reflect went back in my training asked people far more accomplished in barrel racing because it wasn’t where I started with horses nor where I’ve won the most & we all reflected... we took a step back for Joe took a minute & went back to when we were making positive progress & more consistent runs! Reflection is so important because it happened & so did our success rate! I mean we still aren’t where I’d love to be but we are where I set my goals to & that is so rewarding! REFLECT PEOPLE! They have ways they truly learn best & sometimes we’re rushing them to that destination which is our end goal! Joe has successfully laid down 4 runs in less then a month... 3 of which were back to back if anyone knows barrel racing that’s pretty good odds! So we are walking into 2021 excited to see if his expectations can heighten! & due to the incredible performance care all season from vets, feed, chiro, & massage Joes going into next year sound & healthy! That’s your weekly update reflection have it, embrace it & reach out & grab it! It’s not a skill we’re born with I believe it’s one we learn to grow with & I am so glad mines popped in & taught me so much towards being a better trainer & coach for these guys & their humans!!

Been working very hard to get these two forming a bond between hand & leg as well as completely changing Chloes seat & Zips self carriage to make for a better, well rounded & more complete package! 60 - 90 days of hard work is paying off for these two!! I love to see it all coming together & being able to throw more new things in throughout a lesson now that the horse & rider connect better & everything is flowing smoothly!! Chloe & Zip have worked SO hard the last few mo...nths coming from breaking & having hardly any steering off leg or body control at times!! Very proud of this one! Chloes focus towards the show horses & large interest in trail is so fun!! More updates to come weekly! I am so excited for the future of my younger riders lately!! They are blowing me away!! 2021 is going to be a blast!!

HEY GUYS!! Today I was casually reflecting on my Facebook page & very suddenly realized my tone has changed immensely in the last year & a bit! I miss my weekly or monthly positive updates on life, the barn & my horses personal or clients! Let’s talk the changes... WELL I live in a totally new place with new surroundings & new horse families & events! ... I have a new family of my own Ty, Joe, Remmy & Rukus! & Kamloops is definitely where my heart belongs! With all this being said here’s the deal! I miss riding lessons & helping other people reach those perfectly achievable goals they have! I am currently back in Barriere for a month to a few months depending on some variables & I want to help you!!! With my current job & the plans ty & I have till spring training horses isn’t fully in the cards but everyone knows I don’t say no like EVER! So we could definitely work it out! But my lesson book is open wide I do have a few regulars I love so their days are booked but I have quite a few spaces I’d love to fill! Here’s a really fun fact! I LOVE the barrels & gaming events but if you want to tighten up your riding events Western or English I want to help you! My resume is long in being successful in doing so myself & I’m a sucker for a hard working & motivated horse & rider wanting to up their game in the flat classes & show pen!
