I will never knowingly sacrifice what little is left of my personal privacy just to maintain a persona, get a dose of entertainment, build my business or make an impact on social media. The new privacy policy updates for these apps are about to do just that. Yes, I read them thoroughly and my interpretation tells me it’s time to go regardless of this isn’t new or they’ve already got all your info anyways ... It’s not okay and I’m out . Although it was a lot of fun whi...le it lasted, it just isn’t fun to hold space here for an online business or personal entertainment at the moment. I’ll be continuing with my monthly newsletter for my Online Community so if you’d like to stay in the loop for some free healthy recipes, workouts, nutrition chats and mindset motivation, make sure you email me and I’ll add ya to the list if you’re not on it already! . Carbs are not your weight gain issue. Your Calorie Surplus is the issue. . The only way your body can gain weight is if you eat more calories than your body uses in a day!! . These calories can be from carbs, protein or fat sources. Regardless of the source, if the amount of calories you eat puts you in a calorie surplus you will gain!... . So stop demonizing carbs and let yourself enjoy them!! . If you learn how to enjoy them responsibly, in moderation, you can still enjoy them and lose weight!! . Need help figuring this out?? Never in a million yrs did I think my career in health/fitness would place me in front of a laptop 24/7! . But hey, I am not complaining!! I get to impact more people in a day then I ever imagined possible in a gym setting. . I get to make my own hours instead of working the normal Personal Trainer type hours 5AM - 9AM and 5PM-9PM. Early mornings, evenings and weekends! (Which I did for 6 years before I jumped Online)... . I get to meet sooo many new people. New mentors, new clients, new opportunities that I never ever would have had staying in a gym! . I get to challenge myself and learn how to grow and operate a business of my own instead of building someone else's business! This has been a game changer for me!! . I have always been an entrepreneur at heart! I was 4 yrs old and my Nanny caught me at the end of her driveway selling all my toys to the neighbours who passed by!! If only I would have thought of Lemonade instead lol I moved on to selling lemonade shortly after this as well as going door to door with crafts that I had hand made! haha I was a biz woman before I even had any clue what that meant!! . So here I am, 25 years later, and wow business and sales have changed Soooo much since I first set out on my entrepreneurial journey (LOL) but hey, i'm here for the change, and the growth. . I'll be the first to admit that 10 yrs ago I was the PT in the gym believing the the world of Online Health and Fitness would NEVER WORK! And now I've built a business out of it. Full circle my friends!! You've got to be adaptable to keep up with how quickly things change lol anyways, thanks for coming to my Ted Talk!!
