Hello it’s me! Your friendly neighbourhood photographer Since we have some new followers here, I thought I’d show my face and say a few things about me! I’m fluently bilingual in French and English but prefer to write in English. Once we’re talking though you’ll quickly notice I’m actually 100% Franglish. I completed the photography program at Cite Collegial and graduated in 2015. I now teach introduction to photography in 3 different programs at La Cité since 2017!... I grew up in Limoges and now live nearby in Embrun! Small towns just 30 minutes east of Ottawa. As a past time while I watch some tv and unwind at night, I like to crochet blankets mostly! I have an obsession with mugs. I have way too many... My favorite part of being a photographer is being able to capture memories and the essences of people and couples. I love when the personalities and love are evident through my pictures, makes me proud of my art.

Is it too early to say I can’t wait for summer?

Bring on #2021! I was so excited when my friend announced that she was expecting in 2021. One of the first things I said was ok so when are we doing the announcement pictures?! 2020, as I’m sure you already know for yourself and you’ve heard over and over again was a rough year for everyone. But, some beams of light did shine through this past gloomy year and this is one of the many moments like that that I was able to capture in 2020 and for that I’m grateful

We are back from a short break after the holiday’s and it feels good! Alex and I are all settled into our new home and enjoying being back in our hometown. We are still waiting on some furniture to come in to finish setting up the new meeting space/mini studio so stay tuned for some pictures of that space I hope everyone had some good holidays and go to see some family before the new lockdown took place! This new lockdown is also forcing me to put shoots on hold for now so those that have a shoot coming up and that we haven’t already touched base to reschedule, I’ll be in touch this week!

And just like that my 2020 season is almost over with one more maternity session left! It was, surprisingly, still a very busy season considering everything and I am so ever grateful and happy for that! It’s been a one of a kind year with lots of different emotions. Some good, some not so good but, we got through it! With that being said, I’ll be taking a small break from answering messages and emails. I’ll still be active and I might still post but it will be slower response times as I relax and spend a bit of time with my family. I hope you all get to do the same
