Hello swimming families and friends, If some of you have not heard there will be a meeting tomorrow night at 7pm in the Zima room at the Bradford library regarding backyard swimming schools. The town is meeting to discuss a bylaw that could potentially shut down all the schools in town. It would be amazing if you could take the time to show your support, in person, through phone calls or emails to the ward councillor in your area to state your views on this situation! The mo...re complaints we get through to those members before tomorrow night should help urge them in a positive direction in making a change to the bylaw. Below is a link for a petition for this situation and I ask you to please sign it. We need all the support we can get. I know there are many of you that are concerned, just like I am, about what the outcome for you and your families will be for this summer. Just a bunch of summer memories squished into a few minutes.

And there goes another successful summer! I want to thank my amazing instructors Nina & Taylor for all their hard work and dedication they brought to their kids at the pool each and everyday. The passion those two have when teaching swimming and water safety is outstanding and I am so lucky to have had them on our team this summer. To all the kids who worked their butts of.. WAY TO GO! You all had passed some pretty big milestones in the Red Cross Swimming world. Whether tha...t was the realization of independence and fun in the water, blowing bubbles, gathering sinker toys, floating, passing a level, understanding a new stroke, acing your dives, completing your entire Red Cross Levels, Becoming certified as a Babysitter, or partaking in the Lifesaving world of either Rookie Ranger and Star Patrol courses. I am very proud of you all. To all the parents/aunts & uncles/grandparents/cousins/siblings/and friends that brought the kiddios aka fishies to the pool this summer thank you. Thank you for being so corporative and easy to schedule with. And thank you for realizing how important swimming lessons and swimming safety skills are for every child. With your awareness in and around water we will help create and instill a safe environment for all our loved ones. Take a look at the 2016 Swimming album and the video. For the parents that would like some of the photos feel free to save them off the album and if that does not work please message me and I will personally send them to you. There are some keepers. I tried my best to capture as many of all our swimmers as I could with only working half days and not getting the video camera till late July. Hello Everyone! Summers just around the corner! If your wanting your child to learn basic caregiving and first aid skills and they are between the ages of 11 and 15 they now have the opportunity to learn how to provide care to younger children in a variety of age groups! They will learn how to prevent and respond to emergencies as well as how to promote themselves as a babysitter to prospective parents. Please message me for more details on when the courses are being provided. Have a fantastic day!

Good morning everyone! Now that we are slowly getting out of hibernation mode.. Let's talk summer! I will be calling everyone at the end of April to book for swimming lessons. ... The schedule is as follows : June 15th to June 26th 2-7 June 30th till August 28th 9-5. Monday through Friday. Please keep in mind what weeks/ dates/ times you would like. We will be doing the life saving courses again. As last year was a lot of fun :) And we will also be teaching private and group adult swim classes again. Let me know if you are interested. What a great bunch of kids we had at the pool this summer!

I know its a wee late but I wanted to thank all the 170 students that came out this summer for swimming lessons at the farm. As well as all the amazing parents/ grandparents/ aunts/ uncles/ & friends that came to watch and encourage their loved ones on! Tara and myself had a blast and already miss you all. Best of luck to all the kids with school this year! We will see you again next summer!
