The sun is staying out later and the snow is melting! I gotta say that I’m here for it. Even with the mud and the fact that the north is a little ugly this time of year I’m so happy to be shooting couples in no to little snow, especially cuties like these two that are about to start a beautiful little family.

These moments, they are my favourite at anytime for any client. But this one was extra special, this was my best friend, someone I’d consider my sister. We have seen each other through so much heart break, losing jobs, boys who broke our hearts, school and work and life being too much, we moved to the mountains together on the wildest summer of our lives and sometimes we wanted to rip each other’s heads off, but we always made up shortly after the other was hungry or had to p...ee or saw a funny meme We had been through so much together, good and bad, to see how happy this guy made her, to be able to show her the light in their eyes when they look at each other. These are the moments. I live for, these are the moments that make me want to keep picking up my camera. This moment was so amazing to not only be able to witness but also to capture. (Even though it was low key super hard to capture because I was balling behind the camera and blindly shooting for a few seconds when mascara was in my eye ) and I’m so happy to be apart of it and I cannot wait till the big one when restrictions lift.

Counting down the day till I’m sipping wine at Kelowna vineyards with this lovely lady again.
