Incorporate your outside views with your Feng Shui Design plan. I like to think of our windows as ever changing framed art. Thats why I planted sunflowers outside our kitchen sink window. Every time I am in this space, I feel an inner lift from having the sunflowers energy around.... What view do you have outside your windows? Is it a source of inspiration or is it a blank slate?

When PLACING A MIRROR be conscious of what it is reflecting ... Mirrors amplify the energy around its placement. Therefore, if your space is bright, airy, and is adorned with high vibes items such as a plant + crystal, a mirror will double its impact. ** looking for more plants without the extra care? place a mirror next to your current plant babes and multiply its presence in a room! **... however, if a mirror is placed opposite clutter or garbage, the low vibrations will be amplified as well. The BAGUA MAP is a tool used in Feng Shui It is one that identifies which areas in your home or office is linked to a particular area in your life. Chrysanthemum season is here! These bright florals symbolizes OPTIMISM + JOY and are the birth flower for those born in November (my husband!). Chrysanthemums (aka Mums) are great to pair up and flank the front door with. Flowers attract positive energy + attention, which is wonderful to have flow to and in the front door ... I have patiently been waiting to replace our summer blooms with these gorgeous planters. It usually costs nothing and can be the first step to recreating a room or area in your life (in accordance with the BAGUA MAP).... Often, during client consultations, I help begin this process! It is fascinating how quickly a space can shift after a chair or plant is moved to a new position. Im in the middle of freshening up our built shelving unit. This unit gets a lot of use and sees lots of action; therefore, it is one area that will impact ourselves every time we walk in the front door or pull a book from the shelf. While cleaning the shelves, I decided to place our thriving Pothos on the window ledge. Bam!! I think I love it so much more here Especially how the vines delicately drape our side door window... subtly creating a buffer from the outdoors. Swipe left to see the before and after of our Home Office!! My husband has been working from home for the past 5 months, in my former home office. Maybe you can relate too?! Today, I went through (now known as) our home office and did a complete clean. The floors were vacuumed and mopped with PEPPERMINT ESSENTIAL OIL, the desk was wiped down, and the artwork + decor was swapped out - with new intentions.... This is now a space that is setup for my husband to really thrive while working from home. A space that will support him during these unprecedented times. A space that helps balance him while working in a very busy and fast-paced, ever changing, position. In the first photo youll see some new artwork added, which was actually a photo taken by my husband from one of our favorite places to rock climb and hike. I opted to swap the rose quartz for a blue agate stone, which aligns more with his personal energy. There has been a lot of change during this time taking place outside our home, but also within. Ive been talking a lot about transitions lately. And I just love how shifting your space can really compliment and embrace the change thats occurring. How has your home shifted during the past 5 months? Did you also have to create a space to work from home?

DECLUTTERING is a powerful practice during transitions. It projects a strong + clear message of what is no longer serving you and CREATES SPACE for what will. Not only is school starting but a new season is on the horizon The a b s o l u t e perfect timing to let go of the clutter and WELCOME CHANGE. My intuition communicated with me to clear our closets + cabinets last week and it feels so so good! A new leaf has turned.... Could you home use some space cleared through decluttering?

* BACK TO SCHOOL OILS * Essential oils have become such a big part of our Fall/Winter/Spring family health + wellbeing. With school beginning just around the corner, I thought today would be a great day to take inventory of what we have and what oils need replenishing. Here is a list of our most used oils from last school year and how they were used in our home:... ON GUARD + EASY AIR. These two oil blends were used, maybe the most, in our home for preventing and complimenting treatment of colds. Both were used in our diffuser. My husband and I really enjoyed sipping on a lemon, honey, and hot water concoction with On Guard, to ease a sore throat. Easy Air is always on hand in a roller diluted to apply on our childrens chest, back and soles of the feet when congested. PEPPERMINT. This is one of my favorite oil as it is so versatile. I love adding it to my cleaning solution to benefit from the fresh invigorating scent throughout our home. Its great for clearing the air too in the diffuser. I found that my daughter usually likes some alone time after a full day with friends when she gets off the bus, so this has been a great oil to diffuse during that transition in the day. SERENITY LAVENDER + BALANCE. All 3 of these have been oils that my children reach for. They are soothing, calming, and so very peaceful. I love adding a couple drops of either to their bedtime baths. So much so, this year I plan to make our own bath bombs and salts for those extra special nights. What oil do you use most during the school year? Ive got a trunk full of sunflowers... ... and when walking out of the store, they attracted the attention of not one... but TWO other customers who had to comment on their beauty! SUNFLOWERS are wonderful enhancements to attract positive energy ... Place a pair at your front door Place one at the end of your driveway Adorn your lawn with several to share the joy with your neighbors Set some in a vase in your foyer/kitchen/or bathroom Sunflowers have become a must-have addition to our decor every year, around this time. I set my intention and knew exactly what I wanted when going into the second-hand store: High Rise Jean shorts that fit loose. And thats exactly what I walked out with 15 mins later! In my size, like new and on sale no less . #manifested When designing your space: always set your intention first (how do you want to feel in your space) - this helps to really become clear on what will serve you moving forward. Think of this step like you are communicating exactly what you ...wish to attract to the universe Then create space to receive what is required to complete the picture + feel of what you are designing. In the above example, my wardrobe had space for these shorts. Ive recently sorted and purged my clothes. Lastly, take action on a particular item or decision that is ALIGNED with your original intention. This party is now made a whole lot easier after seeing your intention and creating space! Its fun, its joyful, when finding that particular item that aligns perfectly One item at a time, one decision at a time, and in the end youll have a wardrobe and space that is created with intention.

Tonights New Moon invites us to go within and plant seeds of intention for the coming month. What intentions are you setting?... While going about your home today, think of ways you can INFUSE YOUR SPACE + ALIGN with these intentions. Just thinking about them as you clean will do; however, you can also rearrange your alter or space to focus + channel your energy even further. Ive been feeling the New Moon vibes lately and have begun rearranging some areas in our home to welcome this new energy and prepare for NEW BEGINNINGS & OPPORTUNITIES.
