Jessup's General Store

I realized that it has been 3 and a halfish years and I have never really done a proper intro post so here goes: Hey I’m Karli Jessup, owner and operator of Jessup’s General Store. My great grandparents Bert and Doris Jessup ran Jessup’s General Store in the 1940’s near Punnichy, SK. I wanted to keep the name to acknowledge their hard work and dedication. I design all of my own products and screen print the clothing myself. I graduated from the U of R with a printmaking de...gree in 2011. After graduation I co-founded a printmaking collective called Articulate Ink Press with my pals @emironstar @caitlin__mullan @hanoveramber I identify as genderqueer and have never really been able to decide on pronouns. I have an amazing partner. We have been together for 7 years and married for 3. I also have 2 cats (Bean and Mulli) and a Shiba Inu named Beckham (we usually just call him Shibes). Family is really important to me. One of the hardest things during Covid has been not being able to have family suppers every Sunday. I have always been interested in the occult but after a trip to Salem on Halloween, my interests were catapulted. I attended a seance and my recently departed grandmother came to me with a message #mindblown She told me to stop working so hard and make more friends. Haha I am a major empath. Even before covid I didn’t go out much. I like small groups of people. Currently working on a black tourmaline helmet I love Whitney Houston, Paul Simon, the Talking Heads, Motown hits and so much more. There really isn’t any music that I don’t like.
