I'm always asked why do I need to study as a photographer? Lol photography is an art form just like drawing and painting. Yes i do study art history and other photographers because I respect the history of the medium and there is always so much to learn. I hope to be in galleries one day! I want my name next to Avedon, Testino, Wei Wei...I can't get there with no amateur shit ya heard me??!! Lol so my point is, yes I study. And the Dorothy Hoover Library in conjunction with the UofT and Ryerson Libraries, are some the absolute best resources for artists in Toronto. I hope all students have a successful semester.
