This is terrible, our deepest condolences to the family. This was either the fault of a garage for improper installation or the fault of the owner for not performing regular maintenance. We can not stress enough the importance of performing your regular maintenance & Inspections and especially with a reliable mechanic you trust to do good work! Pre-trip circle checks are also important, because things like leaking oil from wheel ends can be found before it turns into a major breakdown and potentially cost someone their life. There were so many frozen trucks this weekend! And we got every single one started again! Spare clothing, jackets, socks and blankets are a good idea to keep in your unit when the weather is cold. Starter replacement

We replaced three complete leaf spring assemblies on the side of the road in less than two weeks! All units were loaded, one was a fully loaded car carrier, and when the leaf spring broke, the whole suspension fell out on the road, suspension airbag and all. We repaired all these units right onsite, so they were back up and running in the shortest amount of time possible for less than the cost of a tow truck! We received a call for a possible wheel bearing on an RV. The axle cap let go and all the grease spilled out. Loss of oil caused overheating, both wheel bearings were disintegrated and there was damage to the spindle/axle. We replaced the axle on the side of the road with all new brakes and bearings. We also upgraded the axle to a heavier duty axle at no extra charge! He was back on the road safely with his family in no time!
