As most people are doing today I’m reflecting on the past year in a way I’ve never done before. I’m so grateful that it’s over and that my family and friends are all safe. It’s been a difficult year for my business but a lot of people have helped keep things going and for that I am thankful. Thanks to my brother Cam for as usual doing so much to support me, to Tammy #twocraftycapers for coming into my store with her beautiful products and becoming a good friend, to Katie #kis...metdesign and Jenna #henandgoose for all their hard work to bring people to the Cove for our Christmas event, to Sandra #bytheoceanart for our great chats and little pep talks, to Leo #thevioletunicorn for being a great neighbour and making masks for me, to Denine #pumpkinvillage for painting me a beautiful sign (and Tammy for her part in that as well), and to all the shops of Fishermans Cove and the Board for all the hard work in a most difficult year. Thank you to all my customers both regulars and new for supporting my business - without you there wouldn’t be a business! Thank you to my family and friends who have listened to me complain and worry about surviving - I’m so lucky to have such a great bunch of people in my life! And although he will never read this I’m grateful for my wonderful son who moved out this year - that was hard - but we’ve spent some wonderful time together going on drives and lately having dinner together at his new home and spending hours just talking. Moving forward with the hope that 2021 will be better, I wish you all Happy New Year! See more

Heather’s is open today until 5:00

It’s a windy day today in Fisherman’s Cove and Heather’s is open until 5:00 with lots of great specials for Boxing Day.

Heather’s in Fisherman’s Cove is open Saturday and Sunday 10-5 for a Boxing Day Event! The jewellery and wood products are all tax free with some jewellery on half price and the ceramics are 25% off. Last opportunity to shop as the store will then be closed until May. Some of the other stores will also be open so pop down and get some beautiful hand crafted pieces at great prices.

These lovely necklaces are going to look amazing under someone's tree on December 25th.
