Who are you? What's your story? These questions usually open a conversation of people talking about their problems. Many times their story has them, the main character in their life, as the victim. They have taken all of their experiences and allowed them to define who they are. When people start to awaken, they quickly realize that the story they are telling themselves with them as the victim is total B.S. They are actually the hero in their story, healing themselves, growin...g stronger, facing those fears, embracing who they are and using their story to inspire others. You are strong, you are powerful, you are amazing!!!!!! Rewrite your story and be the Hero in your life.

This week has been such an emotionally challenging time for me. I have chosen to stay calm and look for the blessings. I practice gratitude and use affirmations to help me. My daughter is due on December 22 with my 4th grandchild. Last week, her doctor said she needed to go to the hospital and deliver early because of complications. After spending the day at our local hospital, she was advised that she had to go to an out of town hospital. She delivered her baby yesterday ...and he is in ICU. Such a stressful time. My other grandchildren have been staying with me since Friday. I could have easily broke down from the stress and allowed myself to feel overwhelmed and full of worry but who would that help? I chose to take a deep breath, shed a few tears and set my intentions. I want everyone, including myself to feel calm, loving and optimistic so that is how I need to respond. I wake up practicing gratitude. I use affirmations to stay in alignment with my intentions. I ask for help when I need it and I share this energy with others. I embrace the opportunity to spend quality time with my family. I know right now that everyone is receiving the best care possible and no amount of worry will change the situation. By choosing to stay in alignment with my intentions, I am helping myself and my family with the best outcome. We each get to choose how we respond to situations. Today I choose to be optimistic and grateful
