Looking for a unique gift? Check out these locally made linen towels! Denise from Yellow Bird Designs sews these luxury towels from 100% twill woven linen (made from flax). Linen is a super-strong fabric that gets softer with use. It dries faster and is more absorbent than cotton and fits nicely into the trendy farmhouse decor style. Because I'm all about natural fragrances, I decorated my tree with cinnamon sticks, dried oranges, essential oil-scented pine cones, and cinnamon tree ornaments. Making cinnamon tree ornaments (that look just like gingerbread cookies) is super easy, is a fun craft to do with your kids - and it smells delicious! Here's my recipe: 3/4 c applesauce... 1 c. cinnamon 2 tbs white glue 1. Mix all together 2. Roll out to 3/8" thick 3. Cut with your favourite cookie cutters. (I used a star cutter and decorated to resemble snowflakes) 4. Poke a hole in the cookies for the string (a small straw works well) 5. Bake at 200 degrees F for 1 & 1/2 to 2 hours, then allow to cool. 6. Decorate with puffy paint, let dry, then string and hang!

All decorated for the holidays, inside & out. Let the season begin!
