We take pride in our role in helping clients fulfill their goals during their time with us so they can be successful once they enter back out in the community. Sometimes it's connecting to counseling. Sometimes we help with enrolling in school or connecting to job opportunities. Sometimes we help them get their first apartment. Sometimes it's simply taking clients to visit places they've never had the opportunity to visit but always wanted to go. Every member of our team does an amazing job contributing to client success! Today we had an amazing visit to Ouimet Canyon with a group of clients because nature therapy is also so important to many. Have a great night everyone!!

What a gorgeous day it was to get outside. We decided to go out into the yard and smash all our jack-o-lanterns from Halloween. Clients had an absolute blast doing this which allowed to get it all out in a safe environment. At the end everyone was laughing. Pumpkin remains were out into our garden beds which will be great for the soil year! So much fun!!

We took an eager group of clients out to the Cascades today to enjoy some Nature Therapy. You could feel winter in the air but that didn't stop everyone from exploring. We are so lucky to live so close to so many amazing places.

From orangeshirtday.org : Wearing an orange shirt and promoting the slogan, Every Child Matters, is an affirmation of our commitment to raise awareness of the residential school experience and to ensure that every child matters as we focus on our hope for a better future in which children are empowered to help each other. We wear our orange shirts today to acknowledge our history, honour all the Indigenous children who had to experience residential schools and everyone who is still affected by that system today. It's important we all know our history and we strive to do better everyday. #everychildmatters
