Jesus Is Alive Community

Blessed Monday Morning, Family! I hope everyone had a great night's rest! :) Today is a brand new day, and let's start this day off with some encouragement from our quiet time -- which can be found in 2 Kings 4! The focus of today's sharing is based off the first part of the chapter about the widow and Elisha. ... ~ When God turns nothing into something ~ We are introduced to the widow and her cry about the creditor who is coming to take her kids and turn them into slaves. Elisha asks her simply. "How can i help you?" .. and "tell me, what do you have in your house?" In response, the widow says she has a small jar of olive oil, which then, Elisha tells her to go ask her neighbours for empty jars - and not just a few, then he instructs her to pour oil into all the jars until they're filled. The widow did what she asked, and in the end Elisha told her to sell the jars of oil and pay her debts and keep what was left over. ~ As we read this, you can't help but thing what the widow was feeling - she may have felt like she had nothing to offer but it just goes to show that when you are faithful with the little, God will bless you even more. God blessed the widow with the abundance of oil - enough oil to keep her sons and pay off her debt! that's how good our God is! ~ And as we face another lockdown, to those who lost their jobs (again), to those who are stuck financially (again), to those who are feeling alone -- just know that in your situation of 'nothingness' WILL turn to ABUNDANCE when you offer yourself to Him. God is waiting for you to offer your empty jars - let Him fill you up! and i promise you - He will MEET your needs! He will MEET you in your situation. :) A FULL OF FAITH KIND OF LIFE. :) ~ What we see as nothing or worthless, God sees that as opportunity to see His powerful hand at work! Don't doubt what you have - be content in what you have - because when you have God - that will always be more than enough! ~ my encouragement for you today is that God is willing to fill your empty jars up - we just need to bring that back to Him. He is more than willing to fill it up! So, don't hesitate and just bring your empty jars to God. Ask Him to fill them up! Ready your hearts and position yourself, your heart, your life - your whole self - position yourself towards our God. ~ GOD CAN and DESIRES TO DO FAR MORE GREATER THINGS THAN we could ever ask or imagine! WE SERVE A BIG LIMITLESS GOD! <3 HOLD ON TO THIS: GOD CAN TURN NOTHING INTO SOMETHING. <3 have a blessed day! God Bless you!
