What. A. Year! From broken ribs, to fully launching my business, and quitting my full time job to pursue photography full time. From lockdowns, Canada Post delays and opening my very first studio space. It has been a rollercoaster! I have got to meet and work with SO MANY extraordinary women. They have confided in me with their ups and downs, their struggles, their heartbreaking stories, their WINS, accomplishments, and STRENGTH. I have had the absolute pleasure of being the ...photographer they chose (out of so many) to take their beautiful portraits, and some I have even had the pleasure of photographing twice! I have had so many laughs, and even a few tears with these AMAZING and STRONG women. For many years I felt lost in my life. Not sure of my purpose. I am so glad to have finally found it. I truly love what I do. I am appreciative beyond words for my amazing clients. I always try to go above and beyond when I can! My heart is full thanks to you. So once again, to the ladies I have worked with thus far; thank you from the bottom of my heart for your business and support. Also, to those that have supported me through liking and sharing my work and posts, talked to me when I doubted myself, helped me through challenging times or just listened when I needed an ear, I appreciate you more than words and thank you. Every little bit helps, big or small. I can't wait to see what 2021 has in store for my little business, and I can't wait to work with even more amazing women this year. Lest We Forget. As being a part of a military family growing up this day means a lot to me. I take time to remember and thank those that have served and continue to serve.... I think about the ones that sacrificed their lives so that we may enjoy the freedoms we have today. And most of all I appreciate the freedom we have today as an individual and as a country. Freedom to raise our families without worrying of threats of war. Freedom to run a business and be prosperous. Freedom to dress and live our lives as we choose. And most of all, a Free and beautiful country that makes it all possible. I am thankful. These seemingly simple things we take for granted, were provided by their sacrifice. Remember them. Lest we Forget.
