I wrote this song on a bad day a few years ago. I had just missed the bus, so I had to walk the rest of the way home. At the time, I had felt like I was being led on. Even though it felt that way, I was still trying to hold on to this thing that I thought was so great. It was this beautiful autumn day, but autumn in Edmonton lasts only 2 weeks if we're lucky. No matter how hard you try to hold on, things will change and you have to just let it. Even if it's hard.
