After a break for lunch the whole group headed to Jewel Court Stud to meet Eliane Van Reesema for a demonstration of Hylofit. This is an amazing new technology ...to capture heart rate data of the horse and rider in real time to help aid in fitness and training. Check it out Hylofit Now off to food truck festival for dinner!!!

Another busy day for our 2020 edition of JIYEMP. Both groups started the day at fitness with Dressage 4 Kids. Hunter/Jumpers spent the day at WEF. Morning star...ted with watching some beautiful horses go in the International Derby and then a tour around the show grounds checking out the rings and stabling. First scheduled meeting was Course Design with multi talented David Ballard (rider, trainer, FEI Level 4 Course Designer, show jumping historian) Lunch was over looking the International ring watching the FEI 1.45 and an impromptu meeting with class winner, USA sensation Brian Moggre. Canada’s own sensation was a very close 2nd!! Senior Steward and Judge Fran Macavity joined us to discuss Rules and the role of the Steward. We met up with the Dressage group to head to the Dover Warehouse Sale and then spend the evening watching Grand Prix Freestyles at Global Dressage!! See more

Catch up from yesterday!!! Another morning fitness session with Dressage for Kids at a local park. The fitness leaders at D4K are amazing!!

Another busy day! Fitness at D4K! And then a tour of Palm Beach Equine Hospital. Hunter Jumpers did a drive thru Deeridge- Home of the Palm Beach Masters! The...n a visit to the beautiful Gut Einhaus, 2020 winter home of Canadian Amateur Lexi Ray who chatted about her experiences showing in Europe and riding with Eric Lamaze and Laura Kraut. Then a visit to Jills own Windhaven South location to watch Hunter Legend Wayne McLellan and Denis Sweeney school s young horse. A quick visit to Erynn Ballards Florida training facility and then to meet with the Dressage group at Global Dressage to watch Jill show Degas. There we got to meet several of the top dressage riders!! Now Nations Cup at WEF!

What a night! The group got to walk the Nations Cup course with Tiffany Foster!!! You couldn’t miss the group in their Canada shirts!!! Hanging out with Tiff...any at the in gate, they got to meet some top riders and watch the opening ceremonies from ‘behind the scenes’. Tiffany also took them down to watch Beth Underhill school for the first round! Lots of cheering and flag waving led by Lynne Foster got a shout out from the announcer!!! The lucky group also got to take pictures with the winning US team!! See more

Friday was an amazing day as we were SO lucky to spend the afternoon at Global, listening and learning from Columbian FEI 4* International Judge Cesar Torrente.... Cesar is often travelling globally for judging, clinics and more! He gave us so much time learning about his career, FEI competition years, tips from the judges point of view and SO much more! We felt very lucky to soak up everythig we could and enjoyed watching the U25 Grand Prix class with him! Thank you SO much!! Such an amazing lifetime experience for these Canadian youth riders!!
