Hey Everyone, I have very disappointing news. Our show tomorrow Sunday 8, Live Jazz for Vets is being postponed due to Doug Fords decision to put Niagara into COVID-19 Yellow Alert. This show isn’t being cancelled, just postponed. It’s really too bad that a show that was raising funds for our Veterans who are in need of shelter and food has to be delayed, especially since there weren’t many tickets left. I guess the silver lining in this dark cloud is that it gives us more ...time to sell the remaining few tickets and hopefully we’ll be able to expand the audience limitations down the road a little. Stay tuned for news of the new COVID-19 date. The government inspectors actually came by the Theatre last night and told us the show could proceed by reducing the audience to 50, which is a 75% reduction and the singers are allowed to sing, but no louder than their talking voices. REALLY? With 20 musicians behind them!! They also informed us that government inspectors would be at the show to make sure we’re compliant with their new rules, which really means ready, willing and eager to lay fines and charges. I’m on my way to Walmart to see if there’s only 50 people in the store. I think I already know the answer. I know we have to be safe, but it sure seems that the rules don’t apply to everyone. The show will go on at a future date and will be bigger and better than ever. If you bought your tickets or booths already you can wait for the new date and attend or you can get a refund.
