The heat this week has been tough on us, more so for my 15 year old husky Bruno. Tonight, I was getting ready to take everyone out for one last pee before bed. Bruno came over for an ear scratch and a head rub. On my coffee table was an oldish bone I had taken from two pups that were getting a bit territorial over it. Bruno grab it and darted away, he smiled, I swear he smiled as he threw the bone in the air and caught it, spun three circles while bucking his back legs out ...like a bronco He was having fun, and that made my heart swell bigger than the Grinch's. The simplest thing my dogs do can change my whole day. Seeing this old buffalo take such pleasure in a) stealing a toy like a monkey And b) play like a puppy made me so happy. The hits just keep on coming in "My life with dogs "
