Years ago, my friends Nick, Jon, and I thought of creating a YouTube series based on the lives of English teachers in Japan. We worked on character names (to protect the innocent and the guilty). I wrote two drafts (poorly titled "Sensei City"), but "the weight of the world" put the project on the back-burner, then in the recycle bin ! A few years later, English Teachers was released by those with more talent and money. It was more PG-13 than the project we had planned, c...heesier, and first year, but entertaining. It has all the archetypes you'd see teaching in Japan, plus many teachers' room scenes (much cleaner and less cramped than ones I worked in ).
