A little humor the week following Valentine’s Day & leading up to the start of our calving season. We have several heifers on close watch! Just glad they held on till after the frigid cold snap!

Breeding plans have begun, semen tank is getting stocked & bull sale catalogues are filling the mailbox! Calving season for us is still around the corner. Purebreds & AI group start mid-Feb; main commercial herd Mar 22. We have a few exciting breedings coming & super excited for next year!! Kaden might have some cool bull calves

Took advantage of this amazing weather for December & worked with Kaden’s 4-H projects.

Nothing like age verifying calves the night before shipping them Yes - I know I could batch them with calving start date, but I like having them individual so I can trace them to their mama. Works for me & not going to fix the wheel that still rolls!
