This is going to be a fun time! I'll be filming Alan Cross Official's lecture at Jillard Guitars next month. I've been to one of his lectures before, and besides hearing his excellent segments on the radio, he's a fantastic live speaker about music history, and the industry in general. If you don't have tickets yet, snatch them up! Jay Jillard is a world class luthier, I'd recommend checking out his guitars even if you aren't in the market for one. They are absolutely beautif...ul. And a special thank you to Laura Simpson and Dan Mangan for founding Side Door, A really neat organization that puts together fans, musical artists, etc, together, in possibly your own living room! I'm really excited to take part in this. What better way to ring in the new year than a Hollerado/variety show!? Bueller and Good Enough Live Karaoke both killed it too.

Irreverent little interview from my buddy Jordan of Burn The Louvre discussing his first upcoming album, striking out on his own as a solo act, the dangers of drunkenly celebrating another Ti-Cats loss, being a Hamiltonian, and a few little anecdotes about the filming of "Body Lies" and "Fast Cars and Porn Stars" which I helped film/edit/direct/produce. Enjoy! There are video links to check out through the link as well.

Well, the final Owenpalooza has come and gone, but what a great send off. Great crowd, great bands, great food, great beer. Here are some photos of the day, as well as some highlights of all the bands that played, which included Valerie Borghesi, Bridge 13, The Gatta Sisters, UKAE, Girlfriend Material, Ivory Hours, and of course, Hollerado! With Brawtwurst Days closing out the night. I didn't know Owen, but I'm sure he was absolutely thrilled looking down on the last 10 years of this special music festival. And I wanted to give a big thank you to the organizers of OWENPALOOZA 10 for having me out to take some photos. What a fantastic time we all had!
