Many thanks to Donna at Quest Sports Canada in Durham Region for the opportunity to speak with the youth this past weekend. Donna and her team not only provide young elite athletes physical training for their sport but also whole life wellness and education. The kids walked away with an understanding of the importance of protecting their online privacy and how to not be targeted for bullying and harassment from peers. They learned what is suspicious adult behaviour and how u...nexpected luring and grooming encounters can occur. We also talked about how to get help if they found themselves in a bad situation and the importance of parental and other support. Good luck to the aspiring athletes at Quest Sports Canada! May one day we be cheering you on at the Olympics!!
