Whether it’s getting into a healthy dietary routine, getting better sleep, incorporating physical activity or building your business... You have to MAKE the time to devote energy and effort into making it happen. Stop waiting for more time to free up because we all know that rarely happens. And don’t worry about being perfect in whatever you decide to start. It’s all about the progress. One simple step you can take is to write it down in your calendar or agenda. Writin...g things down increases your chances of seeing things through as opposed to being out of sight, out of mind. Or find a buddy that can keep you accountable if you need that extra support. Ladies, listen up When we hit a certain stage in our lives, let’s face it...our metabolism and fat burning just isn’t what it used to be. Cardio is great and definitely needed in supporting detox and our heart & brain health. But in the same breath, we can not forget about strength training our muscles. Now I’m not saying to go and become a GI Jane or anything, but we can’t forget to work out those muscles of ours. Incorporating strength training into ...our exercise routines is key for supporting natural testosterone production. Often times we think testosterone is for men only. Heck no! We ladies need it to if you want to sustain optimal energy levels, libido, clarity and muscle building. Remember, when you build and train your muscles, you also boost your fat metabolism. It can be intimidating to think about picking up some weights and doing that regularly. Don’t worry, you won’t develop muscles like Arnold. Start with a couple cans of soup. If you are new to strength training, then cans will be a great start for you. Resistance bands are also a great way to give your muscles a challenge. If you have joint concerns, then exercises in a pool will be your saviour. Be sure to check out some great resources on YouTube of personal trainers who post tons of excellent beginner workouts with weights. Form is key and don’t focus on how heavy you can lift or how many repetitions you can get it. Just focus on your form to avoid any injuries.
