HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY! We are all Irish today. So may the luck of the Irish be with you, may you find your pot of gold under the rainbow, and dance an Irish jig like your lucky leprechaun.

A message to our clients and our community: It goes without saying that we are in the midst of a very challenging situation. We at Home Group Realty have been... carefully monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak and while circumstances are changing constantly and rapidly we can and will navigate these difficult times by working together. Your home is a sanctuary and we want to help you protect your home and your family from this virus. You have trusted us to work with you and your family on your home purchase or sale. We also understand the need and importance of continuity and supporting your long term goals. Effective immediately, we will halt all public and agent open houses until we have received notification from local health authorities that small gatherings and interactions are permissible. We will avoid conducting in-person meetings and will replace those interactions with online, video and phone conversations. If you choose to continue to allow showings of your home or continue to view other listings, we will ask you to take measures as encouraged by Public Health authorities, such as no physical contact, use social distancing, frequent hand washing and sanitizing high touch surfaces. We have the technology to conduct business electronically through email and digital signatures. We will facilitate showings using video and, if necessary, will allow individual showings with your permission and proper steps being taken to minimize exposure to any contagion. We understand and fully support any decision at this point to suspend activity on your listing or curtail showings until this situation has stabilized. Your agent will be in touch with you to discuss risk level and plans for ensuring the safety of you and your family, should you choose to allow showings to continue. Here’s what else you need to know: Our team of sales representatives and administration are prepared to work remotely and that we are able to do this in an efficient manner with little to no disruption to you We have implemented a screening process to be followed in advance of any necessary face-to-face meetings and showings While our office is still open we have increased the cleaning of contact surfaces within our office and follow the protocols as outlined by Public Health authorities to reduce risk and transmission We are in constant contact with our legal and mortgage partners to ensure all existing transactions will be serviced and closed in a timely manner and to minimize any inconvenience to you We will provide regular updates throughout this critical period through your agent and our brokerage While this pandemic continues to evolve, we are here to support you and your families throughout your real estate journey. Stay strong and stay calm. Help each other out and together we will emerge at the end of this as a stronger community. - Paul Fitzpatrick, Broker of Record

One day I pray we celebrate PEACE on "Remembrance Day". One day, I hope people of the world will solve their differences through verbal negotiations and respect for one another's culture and customs. One day, I hope that people will teach their children to love and to respect basic human rights for all regardless of sex, religion or skin colour. One day, I hope that people of the world love their sons and daughters more than the people they hate and stop sending their childre...n to war. One day, I hope there are no more coffins coming home from conflict resolutions around the world. One day, I hope that on Remembrance Day that we gather to celebrate peace, not lives lost to protect our freedoms. Today take a stranger's hand, smile and wish them peace and happiness.
