Cilantroooo!! #Cilantro hits home for us because it is a staple ingredient back home, in Trinidad There are many names this flavourful leafy green comes with, such as #Shandonbeni or #bandanya as referred to often by Trinis. Though the the look is definitely different from the one we get here in Toronto, it serves the same purpose, as a seasoning. Here we blended up cilantro with some pepper and garlic just t...o have as an addition to our meals. For that matter, as shown in the third picture, is something we #Trinis call #chow Which is simply (sometimes a combination of) a fruit or veggie seasoned with ingredients like cilantro, pepper, salt, garlic, etc. So that’s exactly what we did here with our little bottle of goodness and Tastes.... and we are so here for it! . .
