You have to line up early if you want to get into camp Sidney and get a good spot on the bed.

Time to update my prescription. My old perspective is holding me back. #therapy
When you’re a kid you don’t realize you are also watching your parents grow up. I think this post caught my attention because every day we are growing up (so to speak), regardless of age. Therapy can be a part of this process. Many people find themselves stuck at a certain age due to trauma. What age are you when you respond to your kids, deal with conflict at work, respond to your spouse or parent? Try to answer without criticism or judgment, look for curiosity insid...e yourself . Let's change the way we view and talk about suicide ideation When we change the suicide stigma we open up communication. I would love to see more curiosity, openness and support rather than judgement.

COVID-19 UPDATE As many of you know already, Doug Ford has announced that some provinces' regions will be under tighter restrictions. These measures are being put into place to reduce the spread of COVID-19. At TPC, we are committed to doing our part to stop the spread of the virus. We believe that mental health support is essential, especially during a pandemic. Brant County is considered an orange zone, and we are still allowed to continue offering in-person sessions. ...We will notify you when or if this changes. In the meantime, some things to keep in mind. 1. Masks are required in the waiting room. 2. Please WASH your hands when you arrive. 3. No family or friends are allowed to be in the waiting room. 4. Come in 2-3 minutes before your session. There is check-in on the wall that you can scan on your phone to let your therapist know you have arrived. You can also email your therapist using their [email protected] email. Their response will indicate it is time to come inside. 5. If you are able, PLEASE opt for the online option for your appointment. We are using a secure, user-friendly platform linked to our Jane booking system. 6. Masks are NOT required during your session, but if you would like your therapist to wear a mask, please indicate that when you arrive. 7. Kids sessions will be reduced to 45 minutes and kids will be required to wear a mask during their sessions. If you have any concerns please speak to your therapist If you are able to attend via online please email your therapist and she will send you a link to your session. Some frequently asked questions about online. 1. Is it safe? Yes we use a secure platform that is compliant with confidentiality laws. 2. How does it work? There is a free app called Jane video that can be downloaded at your app store. This works great when you are using a tablet or phone. If you are using a computer (recomended because you may need to use your hands during sessions) the only rule is to use CHROME as your browser. Safari doesn't work with our application. 3. How do I log in? You will get an email that will guide you thru the process of logging in . 4. If I do online can I still attend in person? Yes as long as we are offering in person if you need to switch back and forth we will work with whatever is best for you. Lastly, at TPC we are dedicated to supporting our clients during the pandemic. If you have questions or concerns feel free to reach out to your therapist [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected]
