Our email update for this week is now out, and includes a lot of information on new rules and guidance under the provincial state of emergency - including what's allowed and not under the stay-at-home order, how it will be enforced, whether you should travel to Gatineau and how the order affects municipal services. You can't stay home if you've been evicted from it. Tell Premier Ford to ban COVID evictions now.

We need a lockdown that helps people lock down safely. Paid sick leave, a real plan to stop evictions and support for community organizations serving those most marginalized. The ball is in Premier Ford's court: he must give working folks the supports they need.

Dr. De Villa is right. Doug Ford must recall the legislature so we can pass paid sick days for all workers and get this curve under control.

This is a government that denies we’re even in a climate crisis, they favour big polluters and developers at every turn. Doug Ford needs to stop gambling with our children’s future and start protecting our environment.

Yesterday, the PCs voted to pass Bill 218, which protects the profits of long-term care companies at the expense of families seeking justice. Premier Ford isn't looking out for the "little guy", he's looking out for the big LTC operators, their lobbyists and executives.

We need more accessible housing to meet the needs of 2.6 million Ontarians with disabilities and an aging population. Mandating universal design in building codes will greatly expand options for people with disabilities and seniors aging in place.
