happy canadian thanksgiving weekend! what are your plans? we are going to a vegan dinner party, a roast ham lunch, and an Indonesian dinner. all the variety! and hopefully I'll find time for our annual Thanksgiving waffle brunch, too. thankful to be spending this full weekend with my beautiful lil' fam, good friends, and family.

still got sunshine this week & it makes me happy. although I have lots of baking I want to do, probably not a great idea on a day it's supposed to hit 27! this sunny breakfast is brought to you by @naturespathorganic heritage flakes, my fave of their cereals. there are a couple weeks out of the year that I think 'why don't we have air conditioning!?!' this is one of those weeks. yesterday I baked bread (dumb, dumb idea), today I drank cold beer & sangria, tomorrow I might just make these vegan coconut strawberry rhubarb popsicles! you can find the recipe on the @squamishfarmersmarket website. photo I took for @frostbitesfun and yes, I got to eat all the popsicles after.... in the end, it's only a couple weeks, and I'm trying to take things slow & be creative with ways to cool us down. #joeyarmstrongphotography

My second-last shoot until my "mat leave" & we got to play with pretty flowers. I'm gonna miss spending time with my assistant/co-conspirator @bountyhuntervan. And I'll miss these fun @naturespathorganic shoots too. But soon I'll have a baby to post excessive photos of (haha, just kidding, I'll be considerate & keep it classy), because let's face it, I won't have time or money to do much else.
