If you did it in a Non-Reg Plan, I would think about selling the profit. This is based on my fear taxes are going up on Capital Gains. Then I would use Growth to top up RESP’s and/or TFSA. If I had a big Income year, I’d top up my Spousal RSP. No, I would ignore my Mortgage. I would just make sure I was able to p...ay it off ( I believed I would make more than the interest ) And definitely rebalance. Time to sell some Sun Glass Companies. Make money off of volatility. Don’t Market Time, set up Quarterly Rebalancing. Stay safe Everyone
