The biennial for the New Brunswick Liberal Association (NBLA) is coming right up. I have been nominated for the position of provincial vice president (volunteer position) If elected vice president I intend to work on having our liberal party ready to fight for New Brunswick. Against the proposed changes to the municipalities act, we as rural New Brunswickers cannot allow this government to amalgamate rural NB with neighboring municipalities, as I see it there is absolutely no...thing in this for our LSD'S, except for future heartache. Against rural health care cuts, and closures. In favor of improved environmental protection, I intend to lobby for a new NBLA vp environment position. To name a few. In order to be elected and get at these objectives I am asking for anyone who is interested to call the NBLA and become a delegate to vote 1-800-442-4902, the deadline to register is December the 28th.
