It should come to no surprise to those that know me: - those said I was the hardest working candidate they have known - those that know how in the bitter disappointment of the last election that I should not be surprised to not win in my first try at seeking public office and proud of the 13,000 votes that were given -those that saw me continue regularly working with the the PMMR Riding Executive -those seeing me active in the BCNDP area ridings and volunteering and contribut...ing to those successful election campaigns -those who saw me active in the BCGEU -those who saw me reading and taking classes in fundraising, social networking, leadership and communicating - those that saw me continue my life of service in the treatment of mental health and addictions, acting as a Clinical Coordinator for Tri Cities Mental Health for the past year while saving up all my vacation time just in case of a snap election -and those that saw me in groups for environmental protection, dying with dignity, against racism, and for improved health care that... I am seeking the Nomination for the NDP candidacy for the Riding of Pitt Meadows-Maple Ridge. The nomination committee was able to find a strong group of persons also willing to seek the candidacy and so this nomination is quite likely to be contested. And so I want my supporters to know that I am more ready and able to lead the NDP in a victory than I was 2 years ago as a first-time candidate. My passion to fight oppression has never been greater and I vow to give all I have to defeat Marc Dalton. See more

This research reaffirms the important decision from the Federal Government, in consultation with First Nations, to transition from open-net-pen salmon farms in BC.
