An example of the heat treating I do. This ULU got hooked into a leather belt going 2500sfpm and hit the floor tip first about five feet away Will have to buff the burr off the back side and polish the front

Part way through a polish job. Pretty soon no more scratches will be allowed
Showing off a little today. Torn between loosing more blade and showroom finish, everything is smooth enough water does not hang around. First two pictures are before with chunk missing Ground edge back keeping original profile Handle and brass sanded up to 2000 grit then a couple coats of Tung oil , buffing then paste wax and more buffing
