We’re so happy that this is being held in memory of Dad and three other great men
Today we said goodbye. Thank you to everyone for their well wishes. RIP Champ
As the number of people who have died with Covid-19 reaches 100,000 in the UK, the BBC have made a short film to put faces to some of the victims. Amy and I wer...e lucky enough to be able to pay tribute to Dad. This is being aired on BBC Breakfast on Saturday 30th January, 6-9am. We don't know the exact time yet and haven't seen the film, but hopefully we've done him proud. His photo did flash up briefly this morning... See more
We'd like to give you an update on Dad's funeral arrangements as we've had so many lovely messages from people wanting to attend/donate/send flowers. Unfortunately, due to Covid, the funeral is by invitation only due to limited numbers. We have chosen two charities if anyone wishes to donate: Dementia UK - They provide specialist nurses to support families affected by dementia: ... https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/johnnyclarkko The Ringside Charitable Trust - To raise funds in order to build a care facility for Boxers in need. https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/JohnnyClark If you would prefer to send flowers, they can be sent to Arthur Towner Funeral Directors, 2-4 Norman Road, Saint Leonards-on-sea TN37 6NH. The funeral will be held on Monday 15th February at 11.45. The live webcast details of the funeral will be sent out nearer the time. We will be having a Memorial for Dad when we are all able to mix again safely. We will keep you updated on this. Nat & Amy x
A lovely tribute
We are sad to announce that our dad, Johnny Clark, passed away suddenly last night. He’d had a long battle with dementia and being the true boxer he was, he fought it to the end. Those who knew him will never forget him...he was a true character! Rest in peace Champ Love Nat Clark & Amy Clark x
We had a lovely chat with Dad over FaceTime. He even chatted with his grandchildren Ronnie and Eadie. Thought i'd share this as so many of you are sending well wishes to him, which we greatly appreciate x
Happy birthday Champ, love us xx
We had a lovely video chat with Dad today. I assure you, he was awake Amy Clark
Ringside Charitable trust is a fabulous new charity which aims to build a residential facility for physically/mentally injured boxers. It's a shame this wasn't up and running to help our Dad but if we can help future boxers then that's great. Check out their Facebook page for more information and ways you could help.
Found this amazing bar in NYC. Owned by Jimmy Dean aka Jimmy the corner who was Muhammad Ali’s cut guy. The bar is a shrine to boxing. Amazing Dave Harris, Paul Fairweather, Alan Rudkin & The Rudkins thought of you guys x
A week late but he finally gets to hold his trophy. Well done champ
Well done Dad. He’s now in the Boxing Hall of Fame! We’re very proud
Thank you for the recognition
Happy birthday Champ Much love us x
Hi everyone! It’s Amy, his daughter. As you all know, Dad is sadly suffering from dementia and has been for the past 11 years. I’m running the London Marathon in April to raise funds for the Dementia Revolution charity. I would be so grateful of any donations to help fund such worthy research into this awful illness. Please follow the link below. I have written a short bio about Dad, with some photos. Thank you so much https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fund/showROFundraiserPage

This page is dedicated to our Dad, British & European Bantamweight Boxing Champion Johnny Clark. We thought this was a good way of sharing some of his photos, from the early days, throughout his boxing career and more recent. We hope you enjoy them. Our Dad is not in the best health, suffering from early stages of Dementia, but he still enjoys a good laugh and a few drinks, so he's doing well. Please feel free to comment on the photos, if you know when and where they were tak...en, or have any stories to share. We would love to hear them. Enjoy! Natalie & Amy
