My incredibly talented son Ayden Hutchinson and his amazing band mates Sam, Samuel, and Guillaume have put together a super solid EP, and need a little bit of help to finish it off. Check out the link below if you’d like to contribute and receive some sweet perks! You can also like their page, you’ll be happy you did.

Popping in to say a huge congrats to Harry Mike Trask in his win for producer of the year for Music / Musique NB. Complete dedication to the craft, not resting until the perfect tone is found, Mike has helped me put together two records I’m very proud of. Mike’s the real deal.

Happy 5 year anniversary to Café Europa - Campbellton, NB! Was happy to stop by and play a couple of songs for the occasion.

Merci Jean-François Boisvert et Acadie Nouvelle pour l'article. Man I miss that guitar. Nice mention of Audrey Lauren Arsenault's work!

We are starting the preorder process on a limited edition vinyl/storybook of Black Church, from Lost in Dublin. Illustrated by Audrey Lauren Arsenault. Lit on fire by Keith Hallett (guitar), Harry Mike Trask (producer), Marc Doucet (bass), Colby Jardine (drums). Recorded at MRC Recording. JR finishes the story with some banjo. Read more about it, and pre-order here: http://smarturl.it/blackchurchvinyl Reviews... "Black Church is a tour-de-force which follows a drunkard through the Dublin streets, while more wild, mysterious guitar follows Richard's vocal through the lengthy journey." - Bob Mersereau The Top 100 Canadian Singles "The track that stands out most comes nearer the end, with Black Church. The drum and bass drives it along with real menace, and it would sound perfectly at home on the soundtrack of a Quentin Tarantino film." - Fatea Magazine, UK "The spooky gauze that envelopes Black Church makes it a standout." - Winnipeg Free Press "Traces of 60's detective/surf soundtracks." - Bman's Blues Report, Arizona, USA "A 7-minute long dark blues jam driven by a sinister drum and bass arrangement." - The East, Saint John, NB "Sounds like late 60’s metal." - Go Okanagan, Kelowna, BC

Thank you Music / Musique NB for the Blues Artist of the Year nomination! Lost in Dublin was the main activity I was involved with for the award period, and I had the pleasure of working with so many amazing people, thank you all so much for lending your talents to my record, and to the fans who came to shows and picked up my music. Working on a little add on art project to accompany Lost in Dublin, update very soon!

Lost in Dublin - Track by Track - Backstories & Reviews I Wish You'd Come With Me "A wild tone and surprising but very effective guitar notes from Marc Doucet, like a blues version of Lindsey Buckingham." - Bob Mersereau, CBC... "A straight-razor line groove provides foundation for the electric crackle of guitar notes and horn blast." - The Alternate Root Magazine, California "Tight instrumentation and solid melody, this could be a 60's hit." - Bman's Blues Report, Arizona "His tone is a reflective one, with an opening line that sings I’m as scattered as the stars shining over Atlantic waters. And the music, with its shimmering guitar tones accented by the soulful punches of horns, drives home the message . I wish you’d come with me. Our man took a trip, and now wants to share the discoveries, the dark and the light. Michael Daye, Moncton, NB The Backstory Partially written on the plane on the way across the Atlantic, this track transformed into a soul number accentuated by Marc Doucet’s unique guitar and a Sebastien Michaud/ Harry Mike Trask/ Christien Belliveau collaboration on the horn arrangement.
