Car manufacturers allot huge percentages of their annual costs towards research and development in an attempt to solve all the problems of speed. Leave it to the Americans to find a solution to all those problems; horsepower...a lot of it. Not only has Dodge nailed the aesthetic aspects of the Challenger, producing a true to form muscle car, but the powertrain is truly an iconic feat of engineering. Want a car that will wheelie straight out of the factory doors? Just one test drive and you too will agree, it's time for everyone else to throw in the white towel, the horsepower war is won.

Although it doesn't come right out and say so with an exterior label, there are many cues Dodge added to the Demon to visually separate it from the rest of the Challenger lineup. The most distinctive feature, aside from the Demon head emblems on the front quarter panels, is the largest hood scoop of any production car...Dodge calls it the Air Grabber. The air grabber is so large, Dodge claims that in a quarter-mile it captures enough air to fill the lungs of 800 humans. They also added a sizable front splitter, rear trunk lid wing, and extended fender flares to deal with the larger drag-slicks. Showing only 888 miles from new, everything about this car, both outside and in look and perform as they would from the factory.

With statistics like the fastest accelerating production car ever made and the most powerful V8 engine in the history of the automobile, there isn’t really much to say about the mechanics of this car that it doesn’t already say for itself. That being said, the numbers make for a staggering read. An all-new 6.2L V8 featuring a 2.7L Supercharger was designed for the Demon. Adding the attachments provided in the famous $1 Demon Crate makes the car capable of 840hp and 777lb/ft o...f torque. This performance makes it the quickest accelerating road car available (0-60mph in 2.3sec), the hardest launching production vehicle of all time (1.85 G’s), the fastest non-electric car to complete the quarter-mile (9.65 sec) and the record holder for the longest wheelie of any production vehicle. Suffice to say, the Demon is an out of the crate drag machine, capable of taking you to your limits. See more

Introduced in fall 1969 for the 1970 model year, the Challenger was one of two Chrysler E-body cars, the other being the slightly smaller Plymouth Barracuda. Positioned to compete against the Mercury Cougar and Pontiac Firebird in the upper end of the pony car market segment, it was "a rather late response" to the Ford Mustang, which debuted in April 1964. Even so, Chrysler intended the new Challenger as the most potent pony car ever, and like the less expensive Barracuda, it was available in a staggering number of trim and option levels, and with virtually every engine in Chrysler's inventory.

The Silver Pearl paint drapes the iconic shape of the 1965 Stingray coupe in classic elegance. The rest of the car exudes that same standard for perfection making it no wonder that this car has won so many awards. As the original window sticker indicates, this car is equipped with highly sought after original quick takeoff or knock-off wheels (Kelsey Haye's). The rest of the exterior remains in the same condition as when it received its myriad awards making this a car 1965 Chevrolet employees would recognize as a factory original.

When GM designers came up with the Chevy Chevelle, it was intended to be the successor to the 1955-1957 Bel-Air/210. The two cars had the same wheelbase and trin levels. The Chevelle has proven itself to be a successful successor as car collectors still choose the Chevelle over the Bel-Air to add to their collections.

A true American sports car in every sense of the word. The 1966 Corvette Convertible is the second generation of Chevrolet's foray into high performance and is what many consider the best Corvette ever made. Significant improvements in performance and styling made the C2 Corvettes (produced from 1963-67) stand out as the definitive American high-performance coupe. This example possesses all the specifications reserved for the most elite Corvettes at the time and is preserved in a highly coveted, new-from-factory like condition.

Most of what makes this Mulsanne a Le Mans Edition spec can be found on the interior. This means diamond-quilted leather on the seats and doors, special Le Mans door sill plates and headrest emblems as well as drilled pedals and a numbered badge on the centre console. Bentley’s infamous attention to detail is on full display in this car featuring usage of the finest leathers and wood, a complete absence of cheap materials like plastic and an inordinate focus on finishing that... can be seen most readily in things like the double-stitched leather. While the tuning has made this car more of a driver’s vehicle it still remains every bit a limousine. The passenger experience is in the Mulsanne is truly unparalleled; ample room, reclining rear seats, quad-zone climate control, heated and air-conditioned massage seating in all four corners and of course the well known picnic table mounted on the rear side of the front seats, giving the back seat passengers a surface to work on.
