Tomorrow, June 6, was supposed to be the opening of our Johnson Farmer's Market. However, sadly that has been postponed until June 20. We're still making plans ...to welcome you all back but the market won't look quite the same. We will still have all the wonderful produce and products available when we do open. In the meantime, if anyone is running short of maple syrup, Rose Valley is always open for you. Call and make arrangements for delivery or pick up at the farm. 705-248-3038. We have all the sizes of amber or dark syrup available. Our syrup can also be found at Algoma Business Computers, Scale Meats, Homespun Treasures in the Sault or at Fannie's on the Island. See more
It's too bad that Johnson Farmers' Market won't be able to open on our scheduled date. But the health of our vendors and our customers comes first. It is taking... longer to prepare for the season but we are opening on June 20 with special protocols in place. It's very important to us to have our fantastic produce and products available to our regular customers and to any new customers who are now, more than ever, looking for local. See more

There is nothing that needs to be said.
A huge Thank you to Edith Orr for getting this program through to completion!
As disappointed as our volunteers are to make this announcement, the health and safety of our community is our first priority. As such, the Algoma Fish and Game... Club has reluctantly made the decision to cancel the 2020 AFGC Children's Perch Derby. We regret the short notice, but we were doing our due diligence, consulting with Algoma Public Health and our other stakeholders. Once this crisis has subsided we will take stock of our plans for future events and will continue to promote outdoor sport to local kids and families with fun events whenever possible! Please take care of yourself and each other. AFGC
