Johnson Knife Works 21.02.2021

These 2 are just about finished up. They just need sharpening and sheathing. Same drill as the last one. Both are made with D2 hardened to 58 Rockwell and with Turkish Walnut handles. The shorter one has stainless pins instead of brass. Im trying out different finishes for the steel. The last knife had no finishing. Removed the scale from heat treat and that was it. Seems to be helping rust prevention. These two are lightly polished to give more of a rustic look with black in the grooves and some markings from the steels original state.

Morning folks, the page has been renamed to Johnson Knife Works. And with that change comes another. I am now making sheathes to accompany my blades. So no more naked knives will be sold. The first two pictures are the first sheathes I have made and the following pictures are works in progress and will all be up for sale once the sheathes are finished.

Please take a moment today ladies and gentlemen, to remember the fallen and those that still serve in our military. "A man’s country is not a certain area of land, of mountains, rivers, and woods, but it is a principle; and patriotism is loyalty to that principle." - William Curtis
